Yeung Ching Ho Grammy attained her Master of Music degree, majoring in zheng, at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and is a music major graduate from the University of Hong Kong. She started her Guzheng training under Mrs Chin King, and furthered her studies with Dr. Xu Lingzi. She was awarded Rayson Huang Scholarship in Music at the University of Hong Kong from 2017 to 2019 and Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund scholarship from 2019 to 2021.

 

Yeung toured to Europe and Asia and has held numerous solo recitals at prestigious venues such as Tai Kwun, the Hong Kong Museum of Art, the Hong Kong Palace Museum, The University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and The Education University of Hong Kong. In 2025, she presented two solo guzheng recitals in London. Additionally, she was supported by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and selected for the LCSD’s Hong Kong Artists series to organize two solo recitals at the Hong Kong City Hall Theatre. Music critics have praised her for her “clean and solid technique, clear and pure tone, and precise and steady interpretation.” Recently, she was selected by Hong Kong Arts Development Council’s Showcase in Mainland and Greater Bay Area Scheme and was the only Hong Kong awardee of The China National Arts Fund 2026 ’s Youth in Arts Creation category.

 

She has been a mentor of Student Pro-Artists Scheme at EdUHK’s Department of Cultural and Creative Arts since 2021, sharing her personal experience and co-organising concert with undergraduate students. She is currently EdUHK’s guest instrumental tutor.
